NY1 News reports that a fundraising event will be held on May 3, 2007 to help relocate the Moondance Diner.  Owner Sunis Sharma says if it can not be moved the Diner will be closed on May 15, 2007.

Historic Diner Needs a Home to Escape Demolition

Preservationist Michael Perlman working with the American Diner Museum issued a press release looking for help to find a vacant lot to relocate the Moondance Diner before if is demolished in May 2007.
